I am Auguste Damour, founder of this workshop, and my passion for mechanics dates back to my earliest years. From a young age, I was fascinated by gears, engines, and the challenges offered by vehicle restoration. Each repair was for me a puzzle to solve, a challenge to overcome with patience and determination.

It all started when, at the age of 16, I acquired a Jeep Willys. It was much more than just a vehicle for me; it was the beginning of an adventure. With determination and know-how, I set about restoring it from A to Z. Every nut tightened, every part repaired was a step towards realizing my dream: to turn my passion into my profession.

Since then, my love for cars has only grown. Each vehicle has its own story, each engine tells a different chapter. I am a collector at heart, and today I have not only a collection of cars, but also a collection of stories, memories, and moments spent restoring and caring for these mechanical marvels.

Little by little, what started as a passion has become a true commitment. I wanted to create a place where every enthusiast of fine mechanics could find advice, expertise, and shared experiences. L'Atelier Damour is much more than just a garage: it's a space for sharing knowledge, where respect for quality workmanship and the preservation of automotive heritage are at the heart of every intervention. Here, every car that passes through our hands receives the attention it deserves, with the attention to detail and love of the craft that have always driven me.

Today, surrounded by a team of enthusiasts, I continue to uphold this vision. Each project is a new opportunity to showcase unique expertise and to restore exceptional cars to their former glory. More than a job, it's a mission: to preserve and perpetuate an invaluable mechanical heritage.
